Ashia Thompson

Ashia Thompson is an author, entrepreneur, international guest speaker, and certified public accountant with over 8 years of accounting experience. She is the CEO & founder of Top Tier Accounting, and known as the "Consultant to the 1%." The company prides itself on helping individuals and business owners save thousands in taxes year over year.

Being passionate about helping clients take their finances to the next level, Top Tier Accounting has mastered the art of providing superior services to individuals and all sizes of businesses.

Ashia started her professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the Real Estate Tax practice, where she did tax compliance for clients who were multi-millionaires and billionaires.

Ms. Thompson later joined Deloitte Tax LLP, working as a senior tax consultant in the tax business service commercial group, dealing with clients of the same caliber in the for-profit and non-profit sector.

Ashia Thompson obtained her bachelor's in accounting from Monroe College, graduating with the highest honors, Summa Cum Laude. She later pursued a high school diploma from Wake Technical Community College. Ashia Thompson is also a professional member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Education not only equips individuals with knowledge and skills, but also empowers them to make a positive impact in their communities. Inspired by Ashia Thompson's personal journey, she launched Top Tier Scholarship Foundation Inc.

She benefited from scholarships during her academic endeavors and transformed her life. The foundation aims to raise scholarships for ambitious Jamaican youth and African Americans who face financial barriers to education.

Top Tier Scholarship Foundation Inc. provides scholarships to secondary and tertiary level college and university students who are Jamaican and African American. Its mission is to raise funds annually to provide scholarships and support financially struggling students in their academic pursuits.

Top Tier Accounting is more than an accounting firm; it is a company that celebrates its clients' success and gives back through its philanthropic efforts, namely scholarships, mentorship, and donations to different not-for-profit organizations that share a common mission.
